Sacred Samhain Circle~Honouring our Ancestors

As Samhain draws near (weekend of the 30th March/ April 1st) and the veil between the spirit world and our physical world thins, we remember and pay respects to out ancestors. Let's come together, in sacred circle, honouring Samhain, the  Celtic 'witches' new year' and each other. It is such a sacred time and the bonds between us and our ancestors is strong. We will learn about the Samhain Goddesses, while embracing our crone; journeying with a guided meditation and rituals to connect with beloved ancestors. 

Throughout the afternoon we will...

• hold beautiful sacred space for each other
• discover what the dark moon (as it is on the saturday evening) in the monn phase means to us at this time
• in honouring a Samhain tradition is too have a dumd dinner ~setting a place for a departed loved one~ I ask for you to share a recipe that you love (Not a family secret one! But one your family loves or that came from an ancestor)  so we can complie a collection of loved recipes in our journals. Please send them to me so I can print them our for everyone (as we will need 11 copies of your recipe)
• practise our divination skills through oracle card reading and scrying (you will get an oracle deck (valuing $30 to keep and a small sphere crystal for scrying)
• rituals to connect with ancestors
• delve into our creativity as always!

*please note the time of our sacred circle begins at 1:30pm and finishes between 6-6:30pm*

PLEASE BRING

• a small share plate for afternoon tea~gluten free preferrable~ there will be 11 of us (supper/dinner will be provided)
• a photo of a loved one for the altar
• a photocopy (or a few) of a loved ones/ancestors that can be used in our craft
• rug, pillow, yoga mat for mediation-or just to be cosy
